In times of old, mighty gods and powerful goddesses were revered and worshipped as the rulers of the heavens, earth and oceans. However, as years passed people’s belief faded and the once beautiful and immaculate places of worship fell to ruin and became the homes of demons and monsters.

From above the mortal plane, a venerable goddess calls upon four heroes. Her power greatly weakened from the infestation of her temple, she asks that the four warriors retrieve her blessed crown and cleanse the once holy place.

Found the shopkeeper:

You find yourself in a small room. In the center of the room stands a hooded figure, selling all manner of potions, weaponry and treasure. And in the center of his hoard is the goddess’s crown! Seeing you eyeing it he raises his head and says “You have an eye for antiques my friend. The crown is ancient and one of a kind! I’ll sell it to you for 12 gold pieces. A bargain, yes?”

Pay 12 pieces for the crown:

Handing over the money, the shopkeeper tosses the crown to you. “Thank you for your patronage” he says as he counts the gold. Holding the crown imbues you a sense of power and you feel your wounds healing magically.

Steal the crown:

12 pieces being more than too much, you try and steal the crown from the shopkeeper while he isn’t looking. But before you can nab it, you hear a yell from the shopkeeper. “You really can’t trust humans these days” he says, pulling out two daggers and leaping at you.

Fight the shopkeeper:

The shopkeeper is agile and more skilled than he seems, but you defeat him and take the crown! Holding it imbues you a sense of power and you feel your wounds from the fight healing magically.

Found the treasure chest:

You find yourself in a large room full of treasure. In the center of the room there is an immaculate treasure chest which seems to have light emitting from its cracks. You open it to find the goddess’s crown! But before you can take it a might roar sounds from the hoard of treasure, and a gargantuan dragon erupts out of it, enraged at the thieves!

Fight the dragon:

The might beast has burning breath and powerful claws. Use your wits when fighting this demon (or just brute force). Felling the monster nets you the crown! Holding it imbues you a sense of power and you feel your wounds from the fight healing magically.

Cleanse the temple:
With the crown on your head, all that is left to do is to slay any remaining beasts that are corrupting the temple and then leave the temple. If there are no monsters left then simply leave the temple.
